A good few of the Galway football community will head up the motorway to Croke Park this Saturday to support the county senior footballers when, for the first time since 2008, Alan Mulholland's team face Cork at 5pm.

As a guy who is going in fifth gear and 100 miles an hour most of the time, it took a bit of discipline and education by myself to learn how to manage things and I’ve it now under control. It was a groin problem, it’s common enough amongst a lot of footballers, it’s about managing it. Recovery is a big thing it’s about ensuring that you do your rehab as best you can after sessions.”

After two very comprehensive wins in the first two rounds of the qualifiers, it is no surprise that Armagh manager Paul Grimley has stuck with the same 15 players to face Galway this Saturday in round three at Pearse Stadium (5pm).
